NHS Scotland

NHS Scotland is made up of 14 regional health boards. Each one is responsible for protecting and improving the health of the population and for delivering frontline healthcare services in its geographic area.

There are also 8 national Health Boards. They support the regional boards by providing specialist and national services across the whole of Scotland.
