Modern day human trafficking is an extensive and complex crime that exploits vulnerable individuals for profit in many different ways and locations. It does not have a single source but stems from various social, economic, and political factors, with perpetrators using diverse methods to recruit and control victims.

This section brings resources and links to you to understand how modern slavery and trafficking looks like, how to spot the symptoms, how to help if you suspect cases, how to find help and support if you are a victim of this and what Scotland is doing to combat this practice.
