What do you have to complete?
Check with your line manager / tutor / course leader to determine which resources are appropriate and/or mandatory.
Learning outcomes for all modules are available: SIPCEP foundation layer learning outcomes
You DO NOT have to complete all the resources in this pathway!
Before you start, please read the Guide for Learners and Line Managers / Course Leaders.
Please provide feedback
At the end of each module you will find a link to an online feedback form. We would be grateful if you could complete this. Please note that feedback is anonomous, you will not be asked for personal identifiable information.
Apart from modules you can also access other learning resources like videos, job aids, tips sheets and other documents, which you are free to browse and use.
Please note: Depending on your location, some of the links (e.g. for videos) might be blocked by your local IT team.
The modules should take between 15 and 30 minutes each to complete.
Access each topic area from the list on the left.
Each elearning module (e.g. Hand Hygiene) has a content module and a separate assessment module with 10 questions. Please:
1. Launch the content module and complete. Then close the content module. There is NO assessment in the content module.
2: Then launch the assessment module and complete.
NB. You will have 'completed' the module (e.g. Hand Hygiene) once you have undertaken both the module and the assessment.
An individual certificate is available for each elearning module.
To help us improve our resources, we would like to ask you a few questions about your experience with using our TURAS pages today. This will only take a few minutes to complete and your answers will help us improve our future communication and resources.
The resources may be made available, in full or in summary form, in alternative formats and community languages. Please contact NHS Education for Scotland on 0131 656 3200 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss how we can best meet your requirements.
Transcriptions of any videos within the resources are available.
