SIPCEP Foundation Layer

All learning resources on this site are free to use.

The resources contained within the SIPCEP foundation layer are specific to ‘Standard Infection Control Precautions’, referenced within the National Infection Prevention and Control Manual.

➤  What do you have to complete?

You DO NOT have to complete all the resources in this pathway. Check with your line manager / tutor / course leader to determine which resources are appropriate and/or mandatory. All the learning outcomes for the modules are available in the Learning outcomes for SIPCEP foundation layer modules

➤  Accessing learning materials

The modules should take 15-30 minutes each to complete. You can also access other learning resources like videos, job aids, tips sheets and other documents. Access to some videos might be blocked by some local IT teams.

➤  Completion, assessment and certificates

Each eLearning topic has a content module and a separate assessment module with 10 questions. Complete the content module and then launch the assessment module.

You will receive separate certificates for the module and the assessment. (Access certificates via "My Learn" and "Learning history".)

➤ Please provide feedback
