Please note

To book onto the Dental Mandatory Training course, you will first need to create a TURAS account. Information on how to create an account can be found here.

You will then need to complete a short application form. Once completed you will be provisionally enrolled onto TURAS Learn, after which you will be able to make payment for the course, which will complete your booking.

Booking Steps

Create a TURAS account.
Complete the short application form.
Receive provisional enrolment on the relevant course in TURAS Learn.
Make payment for the course.
Booking confirmed once payment has been received.

Dental mandatory training parts 1 and 2

Parts 1 & 2 (4 sessions online) (3 sessions in-person)

If you are a dentist who has not worked on an NHS list in Scotland or the UK within the last 12 months you are required to complete parts 1 and 2 of Dental Mandatory Training.

Dental mandatory training part 2

Part 2 only (2 sessions online) (2 session in-person)

Dentists who are currently included on a dental list in the rest of the UK and have not worked in Scotland within the last 12 months are only required to complete part 2.

Cost £300.
