These flashcards provide practical guidance to support PrBL helping practice educators to provide quality, modern, diverse, and sustainable PrBL opportunities for students.

Supporting an underperforming student in the practice setting

The following resources are designed to guide Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions (NMAHP) educators within the practice setting who are, or will be, working with a student who may be underperforming. The resources are NES NMAHP resources developed in response to highlighted needs and are based upon principles to provide guidance, they do not replace any existing guidance from higher education institutions.

This aim of this resource is to assist NMAHP practice educators when they find themselves in the position of supporting a student who may be underperforming during placement in the practice setting. The resource has 3 parts:

Reasonable adjustment in the practice setting

The following resources are designed to guide NMAHP educators within the practice setting who are, or will be, working with a student where reasonable adjustments should be considered to allow a student to safely perform during practice placement. The resources are NES NMAHP resources developed in response to highlighted needs and are based upon principles to provide guidance, they do not replace any existing guidance from higher education institutions.

The aim of this resource is to guide NMAHP educators within the practice setting who are, or will be, working with a student where reasonable adjustments should be considered to allow the student to safely perform during practice placement or learning experience within the practice setting. The resource has 3 parts:
