Foundations is a stand-alone module to compliment the TEL Design and facilitation series of learning. This module will introduce five key concepts that set the groundwork for the design and delivery of digital learning. The learning in Foundations of adult education includes an introduction to learning theory, learner-centred approaches, writing aims and learning outcomes, assessment and feedback, and evaluation.
TEL design and facilitation series of learning comprises 5 to 7 modules aimed at those who design, develop and deliver digital learning. Digital learning describes any learning delivered using technology. The modules will support you to create asynchronous, synchronous, and blended learning experiences, using evidence-informed approaches.
Learning includes taking a learner-centred approach, planning techniques, developing learning resources and environments, preparing learning for rollout, and implementing continuous improvement processes.
