The Leading in the Digital Age programme provides learning resources and training events to senior leaders of health and social care organisations across Scotland. You do not need a digital or technical background to participate in these sessions - in fact we welcome those who feel hesitant about this area.

Digital Mindset Session for Board Members

This Digital Mindset Session for Board Members is an introduction to the concept of digital as a user-centred, collaborative way of working and technology as just an enabler. Its purpose is to build an understanding of the mindset which underpins successful digital transformation. Only by having a shared understanding of what digital means can boards move their organisations forward.

This session is designed to empower board-level leaders to set and deliver strategies with regards to new ways of working and considering the benefits of existing and emerging technologies as well as to ask the right questions to effectively scrutinise and receive assurance in relation to digital and transformational change.

Digital Mindset for Senior Leaders

This Digital Mindset Session for Senior Leaders is designed for directors, associate directors, heads of service, service managers and equivalent roles across health and social care organisations (including social work, housing, charities and the third sector).

This session aims to demystify the concept of a digital mindset, helping you to understand how you can approach issues and opportunities through a digital lens and the benefits of doing so. The session will also equip you with a key set of questions to go back and explore with your own departments and teams.
