Coaching is integral to many roles in health care. RRHEAL has identified the need for development of a Coaching skills/teaching video that can be accessed on the TURAS site by all multidisciplinary professionals supporting staff working in remote and rural areas.
Supporting Team Cohesion - Being a buddy
A Buddy is a peer who guides/supports fellow team members to practise in accordance with Quality Objectives. A buddy can provide appropriate support, guidance, coaching, advice and assists staff to make decisions, and where appropriate, endorses actions taken by staff.
