Technology can enable staff working at distance and in more isolated locations. This section contains tools that support both skill development in use of digital skills within rural teams in addition to resources that demonstrate application of technology to best effect; enhancing care delivery to local population, promoting efficiency and effectiveness. The section entitled Technology enhanced working : reports and conference contributions highlights various projects and programmes of work undertaken. One highlight is the RRHEAL TEL L&D Programme where RRHEAL, NES and the University of the Highlands and Island’s Educational Development Unit (EDU) collaborated to design, develop and deliver a programme of learning for NHS Highland staff in the use of technology to deliver learning in the NHS Highland region.
