The purpose of the tool is to record patient vaccination information in real-time during the vaccination event. The benefits of this include:

  • supports the safe delivery of vaccines by providing a recent patient vaccination history
  • aids efficient and timely reporting on vaccination data 
  • local and national data analysis is easier for key stakeholders 
  • reduces the data administration burden after vaccination events
  • works on different devices making it portable and flexible

The User Guide will help you understand all the tool's features and functions. There are also guides explaining how to set up vaccination clinics within care homes and GP clinics. In addition to the guides, we have listed answers to questions asked by our users multiple times across NHS Scotland boards.

WiFi or connection issues?
WiFi signal not working

You should capture vaccination events at the point of care. But if your clinic experiences WiFi or connection issues you can use a paper version of the patient vaccination record.

Note: We will update this paper form when related changes occur within the tool. Make sure you are using the most up to date version!
