NHS Education for Scotland (NES) understand that access to dedicated support worker events can be limited. We know from our HCSW Learning Survey 2018 that support workers like to learn with their peers, with content that is specifically designed for their role. NES have run national events and conferences since 2015, here is what delegates from our previous conferences said about their experience:
“Interesting, thought provoking, informative, supportive and engaging"
"Fantastic day and provided with plenty support and information”
“I thoroughly enjoyed the event and found it to be a very positive day. I left feeling happy that we are being recognised and looking forward to my training possibilities”
COVID-19 restrictions mean we cannot run in person events at present. This has led to the team testing and developing virtual events, for example through Webinars and Microsoft Teams events. We have found that many more people have been able to get involved in our shorter more focussed on line events.
Working in partnership with colleagues we will be delivering a programme of virtual events in 2021. We want to make sure we cover topics which matter to you and support your development, so please shape our programme and e-mail your suggestions to email@example.com
We will add further information here shortly.
