Code of Practice for Support Workers event
Delighted to announce the launch event for the Code of Practice for Support Workers on 29 January 2026.
The Code applies to all staff who are not statutorily regulated and who work in NHS health services in Scotland, regardless of role or setting.
This event will introduce the Code developed with staff across health services and founded on NHS Scotland Values. We will outline the next steps, including the roll-out of mandatory training to help staff understand and apply the Code in everyday practice.
Target audience:
- Support Workers across all roles and settings
- Managers, Team and Service Leads
- Practice education/development teams
- Those involved in supporting learning and development of Support Workers
