Recruitment is now open for Cohort 4 of the Leading Digital Transformation in Health and Care for Scotland postgraduate programme.

Scottish Government funding is available for up to 40 participants to complete this 1-Year Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) programme. Applications are open until Monday 06 July 2026 at midnight, with successful candidates notified by Friday 31 July.

Cohort 4 will be the final cohort of this particular programme.

2. Obtain support from your Line Manager and Digital Supporter, including supporting statements.

3. Submit the completed application form by email to nes.dew@nhs.scot no later than Monday 06 July 2026 at midnight.

Recruitment and Selection

To ensure your application is considered, please note the following:

  • All sections of the application form must be fully completed, including the applicant, line manager, and digital supporter sections.
  • The guidance document and checklist are provided to support you in completing each section accurately and effectively.
  • Due to a short application and selection window, incomplete applications cannot be progressed. Please do not submit your application until all required sections are complete.

If your application is successful, you will be required to register with the University of Edinburgh and provide evidence of your academic qualifications and relevant experience.

Applicants who do not have copies of their degree certificates, transcripts, or other supporting documentation should begin obtaining these from the relevant institution as soon as they receive an offer of a place.
