Eating disorders

Lucy is a general adult psychiatrist, who sees a patient in clinic who has a diagnosis of Recurrent Depressive Disorder. In clinic the patient discloses a long history of binge eating disorder. Lucy is able to complete a risk assessment including a physical risk assessment, and refer the patient on for psychological therapy. She is able to able to advise on appropriate medication to support both her mood and her binge eating disorder.
