The aim of this work is to implement a process to manage new data and digital product development requests to NHS Scotland special boards, which will ensure requests are promptly triaged, assigned appropriate resources at the outset and an appropriate route identified for scoping, design, development, implementation and transition to BAU, taking a cross-organisational approach as required.
This will improve the experience of service users (i.e. those proposing a new data product), and ensure that funding, capacity and resources are used effectively by the product delivery partners (PHS, NSS, NES) to deliver innovation that meets the needs of the people of Scotland.
