Skills development playlists

The TEL skills development playlists are small blocks of learning about technology enhanced learning (TEL) topics. The playlists help you find resources quickly to optimise your development time. They are designed with our admin and business support colleagues in mind, but they are open to all.
This page contains:
  • An introduction to playlists

What is in a Playlist?
Each playlist has:
  • Learning outcomes which state what you should be able to do because of the learning.
  • A set of 2 to 6 multimedia resources to help you develop the right skills.
  • A checklist to help you self assess your new knowledge and skills.

How can I manage my time effectively?

To help you plan your time effectively, each resource is labelled with the letter S, M, L. This is an indication of how long it may take you to complete the learning. Pace of learning is different for everyone, so these are approximate.

  • (S) short resource. 15 minutes or less to complete.
  • (M) medium resource. 16-45 minutes to complete.
  • (L) Longer resource. Over 45 minutes to complete. Keep in mind most longer resources are sectioned into key areas and you may not need all of it.

Why is there no playlist for my development need?

If there is no playlist for your development need, this might be for a few reasons:

  1. We didn't think of that! Tell us all about your idea or development need on our ‘’What is your request or suggestion'' form.
  2. There are not multiple resources for that topic, The M365 SkillsHub or the TEL design and facilitation hub are good sites to search for stand-alone resources.
  3. The development need is not aligned to the needs of admin and business support colleagues. If you'd like to discuss your needs with the TEL support team, contact us via our Digital learning helpdesk.
