Leadership and Management Programme (LaMP) is an entry-level course and has been designed by NHS Education for Scotland (NES) to help and support individuals as they develop a range of personal and professional skills and behaviours which will contribute to their effectiveness as a clinician.
This programme is open to all GP’s, but funded places are available for First5 GPs to attend via CPD Connect.
In partnership with the General Medical Council, NHS Education for Scotland (NES) have developed and a Credential in Rural and Remote Health focusing on Unscheduled and Urgent Care.
The purpose of the Rural and Remote Health curriculum is to provide a supportive training framework for General Practitioners (GP) on the General Medical Council (GMC) Register, and other doctors such as non-training grade doctors practising or wishing to practise in rural and remote contexts to provide unscheduled and urgent care in rural and remote hospitals and at the interface with the community.

RCGP Scotland, supported by the Scottish Government, has developed a dynamic new programme to support mid-career GPs in dealing with the current strains and constraints of working in general practice.
Delivered over two half-day workshops, this energising programme provides practical, job-focussed tools and ideas, and includes ongoing peer support to continually boost and energise participants.
