The Explore pathway is for everyone working in health and social care, irrespective of role. 

This pathway introduces the fundamental concepts of digital leadership and empowers you with the core skills and knowledge to grow as an influential digital leader.

This is an easy access online guide that you can work through at your own pace. It introduces digital leadership and has links to programmes and resources to help you grow your confidence and skills.

This is for you if you if:
  • Want to develop your digital leadership skills but are unsure where to start.
  • Want to build an understanding of what digital leadership is and the range of skills, characteristics and leadership capabilities associated with this.​
What you will gain:

  • Signposting to opportunities to develop your skills in this area.

Digital Leaders Network
Digital Leaders Network

The Digital Leaders Network exists to support people who are current or aspiring leaders with an interest or remit in how digital can drive service improvements and transformation in our health and social care organisations. The network is a discussion space for peer learning, support, training opportunities and events aimed at growing digital leadership capability across the sector.

This is for you if you if:
  • You are a current or aspiring digital leader at any level.
  • You want to re-connect with alumni of the digital leadership programmes.
  • You want to access a wide audience of digital leaders across Scotland​
What you will gain:
  • Access to a platform for current and aspiring leaders at all levels to connect and support each other.
  • Access to a space for alumni of digital leadership programmes to connect and for others to connect with them.
  • Updates regarding relevant events and training opportunities to develop digital leadership skills across the sector.
Digital Project Essentials Session

This short Digital Project Essentials Session is ideal for:

  • Anyone thinking of applying to the Digital Health and Care Leadership Programme (DLP).
  • Those who have already secured a place on the programme but haven't started yet. 
  • Anyone interested in leading a digital project (i.e. a project which explores how digital, data and technology could be used to bring value to users.
This is for you if you if:
  • You want to understand what a digital project is in health and social care (including social work, housing, third sector, charity and independent organisations).
What you will gain:
  • Knowledge of how to identify opportunities for digital transformation.
  • Gain a simple, structured approach to starting a digital project.

The sessions run periodically, so sign up to the Digital Leaders Mailing List to find out when new dates are released.
