Practice team based reflective activity requirements

You are required to interpret your questionnaire responses via a structured practice team meeting. Your team should decide on strengths and areas of development based on patient responses.

The agreed strengths and areas of development, action points and a personal reflection will form the report to be submitted to NES to will evidence completion of this project (see Part 3 – Complete and submit a reflective report).

What is the purpose of this guidance?

The practice meeting is an opportunity to discuss and reflect on patient perceptions of receiving enhanced preventive advice and treatment and to identify strengths within your team and areas for development. All members of the dental team are encouraged to participate.

This guidance aims to support you facilitating a one-hour practice meeting. It is flexible, you may wish to choose all, parts or none of it. It also includes an action plan template. It is recommended that no more than three actions are formulated in the first instance.
