Year 2: PGDip Update
The academic year for the PGDip began on 12 September 2024 with a well-attended online welcome event. Participants expressed great enthusiasm as they embarked on the diploma year of the programme.
Welcome Executive Sponsors to Year 2
To support executive sponsors in guiding participants’ progress into Year 2 of the programme, a 30-minute lunchtime webinar was held on 19 September 2024.
The session offered executive sponsors a chance to connect with peers, gain insight into the upcoming Year 2 courses, and explore collaborative approaches to maximise the programme’s value and impact.
Learning and Network Event
The inaugural joint Learning and Network Event for Cohort 1 and Cohort 2 took place on 27 February 2025.
Opening remarks were delivered by Christine McLaughlin, Co-Director of Population Health at the Scottish Government, and Nicola Dickie, Director of People Policy at COSLA.
The event was well attended, bringing together participants from both cohorts to share experiences, learn from one another, and strengthen their professional networks.
Ongoing Engagement
As part of our commitment to continuous improvement and meaningful engagement, we host online Open Forums for current participants and alumni.
These sessions create a space for open dialogue, feedback, and shared learning, helping to build a vibrant community while directly informing programme evaluation and future development.
