Lewis Mackay

Lewis Mackay - Advanced Practice Occupational Therapist - Digital Leadership & Transformation, NHS Lanarkshire

Lewis is responsible for identifying the digital skills needs of the workforce across NHS Lanarkshire, building networks to support knowledge sharing, and making effective use of digital systems and initiatives to improve service delivery. He is currently studying for a postgraduate diploma in Leading Digital Transformation in Health and Care for Scotland, further developing his capability in this area.

In 2023, Lewis received The Rising Star award at the Advancing Healthcare Awards. This recognised his approach to advancing the digital agenda within occupational therapy, working collaboratively across a range of specialties to support service development and transformation.

Wendy Munro

Wendy Munro, PhD, MBA, FCIPD - Organisational Development Business Partner, Ark Housing

Wendy is the Organisational Development Business Partner at Ark Housing, a Scottish care and housing charity. She leads the organisation’s Learning and Development function and delivers key organisational development and digital transformation projects aligned with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements.

Wendy brings a wealth of experience in organisational and learning development, having previously run her own successful consultancy business delivering training, policy development, and leadership programmes across Southeast Asia.

Wendy has held senior academic leadership roles, including Director of Teaching and Learning at the Papua New Guinea University of Technology, where she managed the academic departments and quality assurance.  She has also lectured at higher education institutions including Virginia Commonwealth University in the USA. 

She holds a PhD in Education and an MBA, is a Fellow of the CIPD (FCIPD), and has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Leading Digital Transformation in Health and Care at the University of Edinburgh.

Joanna Teece

Joanna Teece, Clinical Lead (Dietitian) - ANIA, Public Services Delivery Scotland

Jo is a HCPC registered Dietitian with a strong interest in prevention, health inequalities, diet, and healthy weight. Jo has experience using digital tools and resources to support work at local, regional, and national level, including with third‑sector organisations.

Jo recently graduated with merit from the University of Edinburgh after completing the Postgraduate Diploma in Leading Digital Transformation in Health and Care for Scotland. This has strengthened Jo’s skills and confidence in digital transformation.

Jo is hosted within NHS Lothian and is part of the Allied Health Professions (AHP) team that supports applicants to the Digital Leadership Programme (DLP). Jo is seconded as Clinical Lead (Dietitian) within the Accelerated National Innovation Adoption (ANIA) pathway for digital Type 2 diabetes remission.

As part of Public Services Delivery Scotland, Jo works with people across health, social care, government, and professional bodies. This work supports the development of national education resources and helps put the 2022–27 Scottish AHP Public Health Implementation Framework into practice.

Jo is passionate about connection, collaboration, innovation, and developing digital leaders. Jo volunteers as a peer mentor for DLP cohorts and values the learning and reflection that come from conversations with participants and their project work.

Emma Scatterty

Emma Scatterty, Digital Leadership Specialist Lead, Public Services Delivery Scotland

Emma is at the forefront of developing digital leadership capabilities across Scotland's health and social care workforce. As part of the Digital Capabilities Programme, commissioned by the Scottish Government and COSLA, Emma plays a pivotal role in equipping leaders with the skills needed to navigate and lead in the digital age. 

Emma leads the delivery of the Digital Health and Care Leadership Programme (DLP) and facilitates various leadership training initiatives tailored to empower individuals and teams across the sector. With a professional background in workforce development, particularly within the housing and social care sectors, Emma also holds an MSc in Human Resource Management and a Postgraduate Certificate in Leading Digital Transformation in Health and Care.

Emma is passionate about building the networks and resources which empower current and aspiring digital leaders to drive and deliver change in their organisations to bring value to both staff and citizens.
