Realistic Medicine is an approach to healthcare that aims to put the patient at the centre of decisions made about their care. It also aims to reduce harm, waste and unwarranted variation, whilst acknowledging and managing the inherent risks associated with all healthcare, and championing innovation and improvement. This is relevant to all dental teams, which has prompted the Workforce Development Team in NES to provide educational content on this topic, enabling you to obtain CPD for time you take to learn about Realistic Medicine.
