Developed by NHS Education for Scotland on behalf of Scottish Government and COSLA, the Digital and Data Capability Framework Self-Assessment Tool has been created to help guide individuals through the Digital and Data Capability Framework, allowing users to measure their own digital skills, knowledge, and behaviours. There are 22 questions, and it takes around 20-30 minutes to complete.

  • Step 1 - The tool provides a form to guide you through the framework and help you to identify which level best describes your current skills, knowledge, and behaviour.
  • Step 2 - After submitting you will receive an email with a record of your results, detailing each of the framework capabilities and the level you chose.
  • Step 3 - The personal email will contain links to learning resources based on the level you chose; these have been selected to support your learning.
