We are delighted to let you know that the Thriving in a Digital Age Pathways have been update for November 2024.
Developed by NHS Education for Scotland on behalf of Scottish Government and COSLA, the Pathways are intended to build understanding of the role of digital in health and social care. There are four pathways; Explore, Embed, Drive and Shape which are aligned to levels of responsibility. Key digital concepts are introduced and developed over the course of the pathway series, with each pathway building on the themes introduced in the pathway before.
The pathways are not specific to any profession, organisation or role and apply to the entire health and social care workforce in Scotland (NHS, Local Authorities, Health and Social Care Partnerships, Social Work, Social Care, Care and Support Providers, Housing, Third and Independent Sectors), including managers, leaders, and those in strategic positions.
This Digital Mindset Session for Senior Leaders is designed for directors, associate directors, heads of service, service managers and equivalent roles across health and social care organisations (including social work, housing, charities and the third sector). No technical background or experience is required, this session will focus on the mindset required to lead in the digital age.
This session aims to demystify the concept of a digital mindset, helping you to understand how you can approach issues and opportunities through a digital lens and the benefits of doing so.
You can access Part 1 here which is a recorded video. Part 2 is delivered live using MS Teams and will bring together leaders from mixed organisations to discuss these concepts in more detail.
