Developed by NHS Education for Scotland on behalf of Scottish Government and COSLA, the Thriving in a Digital Age Pathways offer learning resources and reflective activities to help you broaden your knowledge of key digital and data topics.
There are several pathways for you to work through. The Digital and Data Pathway will develop your understanding of the fundamental concepts related to digital health and care, and there are also topic specific pathways that will provide more focussed learning on key areas of digital.
Build your understanding of the role of digital and data in health and social care. Develop and deepen your awareness of key concepts such as digital inclusion, service transformation and the importance of recording and using data appropriately.
Learn about the cyber security fundamentals you need to be aware of when working in health and social care, and how you can apply simple practices to avoid cyber risks.
Develop your knowledge of AI in health and social care. Learn about potential opportunities, with careful consideration of the risks and ethical factors we need to be aware of.
