Clinical Skills Managed Educational Network

The course is aimed at Emergency Medicine trainees who are ST4 or above and who are working toward Stage 4 on the RCEM entrustment scale for the below Specialty Learning Outcomes.

• SLO3 Identify sick adult patients, be able to resuscitate and stabilise and know when it is appropriate to stop
• SLO5 Care for children of all ages in the ED, at all stages of development and children with complex needs including resuscitation.
• SLO6 Perform Key Procedural skills: Emergency Hysterotomy & Emergency Delivery

Resident doctors will be allocated a place on this course. If you have been allocated a place you can swap to a different date, but please do not book on if you have not already been allocated a place. You will be allocated a place once future dates are confirmed and/or you are eligible to attend. 

Prerequisites:
ST5/6 in Emergency Medicine in the Scotland Deanery. (completed SCOTTIE-ED)
