The course is aimed at Emergency Medicine trainees who are ST4 or above and who are working toward Stage 4 on the RCEM entrustment scale for the below Specialty Learning Outcomes.
SLO3 Identify sick adult patients, be able to resuscitate and stabilise and know when it is appropriate to stop
SLO5 Care for children of all ages in the ED, at all stages of development and children with complex needs including resuscitation.
Resident doctors will be allocated a place on this course. If you have been allocated a place you can swap to a different date, but please do not book on if you have not already been allocated a place. You will be allocated a place once future dates are confirmed and/or you are eligible to attend.
Prerequisites: ST5/6 in Emergency Medicine in the Scotland Deanery.
