The VBRP® Essential Toolkit Course is open to all health and social care staff free of charge and with no pre-course requirements. The course is available locally and nationally either in a blended learning format ( 5 x asynchronous e-learning modules plus 3 x 2-hour synchronous TEAMS sessions) or as a 1-day in-person format. Upon completion of the Essential Toolkit course, participants can use the tools to enhance work-based practice.
At the end of the Essential Toolkit course, participants may:

This course will be delivered over a 3 week period with each week comprising of 2 online modules to be completed individually followed by a 2-hour Teams workshop with the facilitator.

The Dynamics and Processes course is delivered in person over 2 full days. The course is designed for health and social care staff who have completed the Essential Tools course and who wish to become VBRP® facilitators, and facilitate group VBRP® sessions. The skills learned are also transferable to situations where staff are required to facilitate group meetings, review processes, conduct service audits, intitiate reflective practice opportunities, etc.
At the end of the Dynamics and Processes course, participants proceed to the practical aspect of group facilitation training in preparation for their practical assessment. During this period of additional practical training a trainee may:

We anticipate that the next VBRP® Dynamics & Processes training will be available early 2025. Dates will be publicised as soon as they are confirmed.

Given the specialist nature of this training, instead of setting dates we are collecting applications and once we have the minimum number required to run the course we will liaise directly with all the applicants to find mutually convenient dates.
