These webinars were delivered in 2023 / 24 / 25, and all aimed to improve our understanding of neurodivergent people and encourage neuro-affirming practice.  The webinars could be useful to anybody across health, social care, education or, more widely, people who work with either children or adults. Some webinars provide more generic information, and our Foundations of Neurodiversity Affirming Practice webinar is intended as an introduction for everyone in the workforce.  We suggest this could be a good place to start your learning.

The following sessions are open access for anybody from health, social care, education or other work areas. You will need a Turas learn account, but anyone can set up an account using any email:

The following session is also open access for anybody from health, social care, education or other work areas and is hosted on our Mental health improvement, and prevention of self-harm and suicide learning site:

Understanding and working with autistic individuals in mental health and suicidal crisis- Becki Choat, Project Lead- SWAN

The remaining webinars ask you to request permission for access and we aim to get this to you as soon as possible.  This process is to help us understand who is accessing our webinars.  The form asks for some basic information about your role. This is to help us work out if the resource is relevant to you. If your role doesn’t relate to the resource you have requested, or if you would need more specialist knowledge to get optimal learning from the resource, we will signpost you to other more relevant resources instead.
