This is a one day course for ST3-5 or LAT equivalent Orthopaedic Trainees, the course aims:

  • To build on last years introduction to the principles and practice of knee arthroscopy
  • To apply a range of teaching methods to aid understanding and skill development
  • To assess the utility of virtual reality simulation in teaching arthroscopy principles

Must be Orthopaedic ST3-5 trainee or LAT equivalent

Understand: Meniscal anatomy, injury and surgical options Practice: Basic arthroscopic skills progressing onto meniscal resection/repair. VR Simulation. Case Discussion
