Join the clinical lead for simulation training in Scotland and experienced faculty for an Arterial Anastomosis Workshop. Techniques covered will be tailored to delegate need and can include end-to-end and end-to-side anastomosis, patch angioplasty, parachute techniques, 3-panel anastomosis and anastomosis at depth.

Bookable places are for current Scottish Vascular ST3-5 and Cardiothoracic ST1-5 trainees only.

Venue: Suttie Centre, Foresterhill campus, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Rooms: 14 May 2026 – Room 218, 21 May 2026 - Room 230.
Parking: Lady Helen car park.
Time: Coffee from 09:00

Prerequisites:
Current Scottish Vascular ST3-5 or Cardiothoracic ST1-5 trainee.

Learning aims:
To develop practical skills in core arterial anastomosis techniques in a simulated setting.

Learning outcomes:
By the end of this workshop, delegates should be able to practise key arterial anastomosis techniques with greater confidence and apply them according to case complexity.
