We are pleased to announce the launch of a new simulation training course for ICM trainees during, or approaching the start of their subspecialty year of training. This course is open to trainees across Scotland. The PEMSIT course aims to provide competency and confidence to the initial emergency management and stabilisation of a critically ill paediatric patient. This is delivered through specific skills workshops and immersive simulation supported by experienced consultants from Scotstar, PICU and departmental leads in paediatrics.

Eligibility: ICM trainees during, or approaching the start of their subspecialty year of training (SY4/5) and Anaesthetic trainees.
