Cardiothoracic Skills, Drills and Simulation Day

This is a one-day cardiothoracic ICM simulation course. This course is aimed to equip trainees with knowledge and skills to optimally manage cardiothoracic problems encountered in general and specialised intensive care units. The following is covered:

  • use and interpretation of PA catheters
  • use and interpretation of IABP
  • cardiac output monitoring
  • cardiac patient post op emergency complications
  • double lumen tube/one lung ventilation/bronchial blockers

Eligibility: 

Intensive Care Medicine Trainees ST4 - ST6 and Anaesthetic Trainees ST3 - ST6
