Role modelling is a significant part of professional development. It can be described as a purposeful activity to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, attitudes, values and behaviours expected of staff to have a positive impact on peoples’ care. NMAHP Leaders act as role models in their everyday practice by being visible and accessible to a range of people including people who use NHS services, staff and students.
