This will be a trainee-led virtual simulated MDT to discuss complex cross-specialty cases and trainees are invited to present their own complex, controversial or interesting cases. This event will improve your non-technical and communication skills. 

The event will take place on Microsoft Teams and details will be provided about how to upload your cases to the Teams channel 1 week prior.

Trainee case discussions possibly including the following:

  • Type A aortic dissection
  • Type B aortic dissection
  • Trauma case
  • Ischaemic leg case

Prerequisites:
This session is open to all interventional radiology, vascular surgery and cardiothoracic surgery trainees.

Learning outcomes:
- To understand what makes a good MDT - Pitfalls in MDT discussion - Vascular trainee presentations of cases - Radiology trainee description of diagnostic imaging - Full group discussion of cases and MDT outcome
