These pages are designed to offer additional resources for NQPs working through the Flying Start NHS Programme, and to the supporting facilitators and managers. The Learning Hub will support the depth of knowledge available from the programme. Providing a sound basis for understanding how learning comes from day-to-day experience and will continue throughout the career. 

This site has three main areas, one for each member of the team: NQP, facilitator & manager (coming soon), to support the specific knowledge and skills required to fulfil their role. Much of the information overlaps, therefore, it is recommended that review each of the areas. You will see there are two other sections providing ‘How to’ guides, FAQs and tips and a health and wellbeing section also.

The main topics covered are: Reflection, feedback, learning, evidencing learning, health and well-being, self-development and leadership.

Please note: Throughout the Learning Hub, information may relate to a specific profession, however, the information throughout should be viewed as transferable between professions.  Where regulatory body information (NMC or HCPC) is also utilised, this relates specifically to your profession.
