This 1-day bootcamp aims to:

provide an introduction to the principles and practice of knee arthroplasty surgery
apply a range of teaching methods to aid understanding and skill development
assess the utility of virtual reality simulation in teaching arthroplasty principles

Venue: Scottish Centre for Simulation & Clinical Human Factors (SCSCHf), FVRH, Larbert

Course fee: This course is free for T&O ST1-3 trainees in Scotland.

All T&O ST3-8s in Scotland are invited to attend this Total Knee Arthroplasty - Cadaveric Simulation training

This one day course aims to:

Provide a brief outline, tips and tricks to the principles and practice of knee arthroplasty surgery
Allow hands on TKA using cadaveric simulation
Allow each candidate to perform a full TKA on a cadaveric specimen

Venue: Clinical Anatomy Skills Centre, Thomson Building, Glasgow, G12 8QQ
