I have researched different appointment platforms. The research has given me an insight into what attracts service users and what the platforms can offer. I was able to make an app within one of the platforms with less time and money spent on it. Hopefully we will be launching it in due course and with staff being familiar with this platform, it makes it easier to manage and monitor.
Also being able to upload other documents/links for our service users to access which will make it easier and free up staff time when information is accessibly ready through the app. Service users are not accessing the appointment system at present but as this service is in the pilot stage as is this app, it will become a useful tool for service users and staff in the future.
