Scottish Centre for Technology for the Communication Impaired (SCTCI) is the national communication aid service in Scotland. The service works throughout 12 health boards and involves members of the team travelling to meet with people who use or may benefit from a communication aid. This project aimed to scope out a virtual way to share clinical information, with the aim of aiding clinical decision making and reducing travel. In consultation with NHS GG&C eHealth leads it was determined that vCreate would meet the needs. SCTCI has been successful in obtaining funding for a 1 year pilot.
