The information alert module is a development to build upon existing in cab technology which will autolook up a patients ECS/KIS record using details passed during a 999 call and provide an audio/visual alert to the crew. This alert will be conditional based on the information available and will highlight the most valuable records for the clinicians to review prior to arriving on scene during an emergency call. The information stored in these records may impact all aspects of the care, management and outcomes for the patient so ensuring we have timely access will result in better patient centred care being delivered.
