To use vCreate to look at effectiveness of allowing patients and carers to upload asynchronous video to the system to allow consultation at a time that suits them and can be assessed and reviewed by a clinician and a response provided. Focus to be on care home and nail surgery patients. Due to time constraints around completing data protection impact assessment for NHS Lanarkshire I decided to change the project to analyse the efficiency of the Near Me remote appointment system being used to provide Podiatry assessment and advice to patients and carers in care homes. What I did: 50 patients between January 2021 and March 2022 booked to a total of 91 Near Me appointments. 50 of those appointments resulted in DNA due to either tech or staffing issues.
