Capability Scotland had no unified approach to Case Management, nor a holistic picture of Customer and Learner details and experience across Scotland. My intention for this project was to develop a business case for the organisation to invest in a solution which will allow accurate information on all Customers and Learners to be created, edited, and reported on, with a ‘Capability Scotland wide’ approach. I interviewed staff to produce a set of requirements. I created a business plan to secure funding and then went out to tender to purchase a digital solution which is a bespoke solution rather than an off the shelf package. The most difficult part of the project so far has been to support a cultural change as so many services have worked in silos for years.
