My original stakeholder engagement project for the implementation of a Hospital Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration System (HEPMA) required to be changed due to procurement delays. Instead I focused on finding a digital solution to improving training and competency records for Pharmacy staff. I engaged with our Information Governance and Security Manager and Associate Director of Digital & Information to gain outline support for the idea, which aligned with plans for a Quality Management System. The Digital and Information service are progressing with the rapid test of a potential solution and the Pharmacy and Medicines service will be included in the first phase of testing.
