About NorthSCENE
NorthSCENE is an educational platform developed to support medical education across the University of Aberdeen MBChB programme. While its resources are openly available to anyone with an interest in healthcare education, the website is primarily intended for University of Aberdeen educators, clinical teachers and healthcare professionals involved in teaching undergraduate medical students throughout NHS Grampian, NHS Highland, NHS Orkney, NHS Shetland, NHS Western Isles and other partner health boards across the north of Scotland.
The platform brings together educational resources, podcasts, interviews and practical guidance to support excellence in clinical teaching, faculty development and student learning. By sharing the experiences of educators, clinicians and students, NorthSCENE promotes best practice in medical education while highlighting the unique opportunities and challenges of teaching medicine across geographically diverse communities.
