The aim of this project was to develop a package of digital initiatives within the Cardiac Rehabilitation service, partly as a response to the Covid19 pandemic, but also with a view to modernising the service to meet the needs and expectations of our service users now and in the future. These developments included NHS Near Me consultations, online patient groups, bespoke packages of short educational videos and a cardiac rehab app. Once established, it is intended to integrate all these elements into a menu of options to optimise patient choice and experience within cardiac rehabilitation.
