During the Covid pandemic, the use of Near Me increased vastly due to restrictions on face-to-face visits. We frequently encountered people with technology but no confidence to use this to access healthcare. As part of practice-based learning opportunities, a Near Me Practice Hub was developed to support individuals to use Near Me and reduce digital exclusion. We started with a small group of users and the feedback has been unanimously positive. By collaborating with Occupational Therapy students, we aim to grow this project further, support patients to access digital solutions and also provide valuable learning opportunities for our future workforce.
