  • Continue to maintain log of all IS cases once practicing independently – you will need to keep doing this for all sedation cases you complete... even going forward beyond this year

DCT INHALATION SEDATION PORTFOLIO GUIDANCE

The portfolios must include:

• Record of training:
  • IS Theory CPD Certificate.
  • Managing Medical Emergency training CPD Certificate.
  • Inhalation sedation in house sedation certificate
• Assessment
  • 10 DOPs of supervised IS cases. Please number the cases 1-10 in your e-portfolio.
  • 1 mini –CEX demonstrating that you have successfully carried out a sedation assessment. 
  • 1 Case Based Discussion of an inhalation sedation case.
  • Your Core Training Adviser (CTA) will have to access these directly through you Turas e-portfolio.
