Leadership for Health Inequalities Hub

Public Health Scotland has created a new learning hub that explains the fundamental links between the right to health, the reduction of health inequalities and sets out what is required for people in leadership roles to take action to reduce inequalities.

Leaders completing this resource will ensure there is strength collectively for leadership roles across NHS boards with a focus on reducing health inequalities as part of a collective public health effort.

The resource can be used as part of an induction or for more experienced non executives/executives who wish to widen their perspectives on leadership on health inequalities issues.

Knowledge Network

The Knowledge Network provides a national digital knowledge service for health and social services in Scotland, with the most up to date research, evidence and guidance needed to support policy, practice and every day decisions.

ihub Quality Improvement for NHS Board Members

Healthcare Improvement Scotlands ihub have created a suite of resources for NHS Boards as it was recognised that additional knowledge on quality improvement would enhance governance teams. 

The ihub assist Board members through yearly National Masterclass for Board Members, the ability to develop bespoke sessions for Boards and resource sharing.

NES Quality Improvement Zone

The Safety Skills and Improvement team at NHS Education Scotland have a range of resources available through the Quality Improvement Zone. 

There are a vareity of resources available including a variety of elearning modules and QI Tools that will enhance your understanding of Quality Improvement methodology.
