Digital Health and Care

Anyone who works or volunteers in or with the public sector in Scotland (including third/voluntary sector or if you work in care homes, care at home or day care) can sign up for a Turas account.

Please follow these steps:

1. Click the link: sign up for a Turas account.
2. Enter an email address - NHSScotland staff should use their NHS email address.
3. Tick the box next to 'I agree...' to accept the terms and conditions. This must be done to create an account.
4. Click 'Send Verification Code'.  A verification email has now been sent to the email address entered.
5. Once received, enter the verification code in the box provided and click 'Verify code' If verification code has not been received, click 'Send new code'.
6. When the verification process has been completed, you will see a message to confirm Click 'Continue'.
7. You will now be asked to enter personal and role details.  Enter your first and last name. Create a password.  Make sure you follow the criteria given on the page.
8. Complete the rest of the information about your role.  Note Sector and Organisation are mandatory fields. A wide range of Sectors are available to choose from including NHS, social services and local authorities Organisation information will change depending on which Sector is chosen.
9. Once you have entered all the relevant information, click 'Create my account' .You will be taken directly to the Turas dashboard where you can choose from the applications available e.g. Turas Learn.

Select the green Helpdesk button if you need assistance to register and we will help you set up your account.

Please sign in to access our eLearning resources, by clicking 'Sign in' at the top of the page. The learning activities will be recorded in your learning record.
