Highly interactive full day SIM based course aimed at the management of common ENT emergency presentations and how to manage them whilst on-call.
Aimed at SHO level doctors (FY2, GPST, CF, CST) who are rotating through ENT, or a speciality where there is ENT cross-cover.
The course will incorporate a review of essential knowledge, before focusing on skill development including FNE, nasal packing, tracheostomy management, and post-surgical haemorrhage control.
Venue: St John's Hospital, SIM suite
Prerequisites: Enrolled on the Core Surgical Training (CST) programme.
