These Anatomy Mini Sessions are targeted specifically for trainees due to sit the next diets of MRCS Part A and Part B.
The Mini session will provide a targeted review of head and neck and limb anatomy to MRCS standard and beyond. The day utilizes cadaveric material in a small group setting (max 7 trainees per group) to review the 3-dimensional anatomical relationships underpinning physical diagnosis and safe surgery.
The programme assumes a basic undergraduate knowledge of anatomy. No specific preparation is required, although trainees are encouraged to revise the anatomy of the relevant regions in advance, to obtain the most benefit from the practical sessions.
Please note this mini session is only 3 hours long and therefore will not cover the exact same topics as the full-day Anatomy MTDs.
Prerequisites: Core Surgical Trainees who are due to sit the next diets of MRCS Part A or B.
Priority will be given to those sitting the next MRCS Part A diet.
