Refreshed Child Health Review (CHSP) Forms Awareness Raising Session and Q&A
 
The Women, Children, Young People and Families (WCYPF) team at NHS Education for Scotland (NES) were delighted to host the above webinar to inform health visitors and family nurses about the new child health review forms. 

Aims and objectives:
 
  • Described the key updates to the pre-school Child Health Surveillance
  • Programme, including the background, rationale, and evidence underpinning the changes
  • Explained how child health data is collected, recorded and used at local and national levels to inform service planning, policy, and improvement of health outcomes
  • Articulated the specific requirements and expectations for health visitors and family nurses in delivering the updated programme
  • Identified the practical steps and resources available to access and interpret CHSP data within their own practice settings
  • Reflected on their own role in implementing the updated programme and identify actions to embed the changes into routine practice
