Clinical Skills Managed Educational Network

All day session covering commonly arising and poorly covered areas of the MRCS Part B curriculum through interactive lectures and seminars.

Morning will consist of a series of lectures on the following:

• examination hints and tips
• IBD pathophysiology and management
• cardiac physiology (critical care themed)
• skin cancer pathology and management

Afternoon will consist of OSCE stations/small group teaching with the following:

• respiratory physiology (critical care themed)
• suturing station (including commonly asked questions)
• Chest drain insertion
• cranial nerve examination/head and neck anatomy
• hand anatomy station
